Pre-Kindergarten Newsletter

                   

OCTOBER TOPICS: Our five Senses, Fall, Pumpkins, Seasons, Weather and Apples. The children are continuing to explore our centers (science, math, literacy, writing, reading, art/painting, sand, blocks and house-keeping)

 

HALLOWEEN:  We are preparing for this special day through, stories, songs, and art projects.  Please plan a comfortable costume for your child to wear on this day.  No play weapons or masks will be allowed.  Please make sure your child is able to use the bathroom and walk comfortably.  During the morning the eighth grade class will host our Halloween party.  Snack and a craft will be provided.

 

REMINDERS:

  • Please have your child practice writing his or her name.
  • Please practice cutting skills at home with your child.
  • Please remember to label all items your child brings to school especially any coats/jackets, sweaters and hats.
