Dear Parents,

I hope you all are doing well!

Each week I will post some topics and websites that have activities that you can do with your child if you wish.

This month we began a Unit called “Welcome Spring”.

We have been charting the weather as “Lamb” or “Lion” days. If you ask your child they will be able to explain to you that a lamb day is sunny, mild and pleasant. A lion day is chilly, windy and rainy.

We have been doing rainbow projects, you can find various activities on Pintrest.

Vroom.org has a free mobile app that has brain building Math activities for children ages 2-5.

For example:

Mealtime Math

Ask your child to count how many people will be eating dinner. Then grab a handful of forks.Ask you child to

count how many forks you took out.Are there enough, too many, not enough? See if they can figure out the right amount!

Storyline Online is a free site featuring actors reading popular children’s books.

Scholastic has released free daily course for children. It is called Scholastic Learn At Home.

When you choose the Pre K – K level it will tell you how you can access Bookflix Watch and Learn Library which I have been using with the children.

Please be well and safe and know that Miss Crystal and I truly miss you all!

Check back next Monday for more activities.

Please feel free to email me at jsussman@raschool.org.

Please take a moment to email me your email address so I am sure my records are updated.
